Based in Nottingham, Mr. Maged Shendy works in North Lincolnshire and Goole [NLaG] NHS Foundation Trust as a consultant obstetrician and urogynaecologist since 2021. He is also the clinical lead for obstetrics at the trust’s three locations. He also oversees all urogynaecology processes in NLaG. Mr
Shendy is also the audit lead for the trust.
Dr. Shendy’s work are focused in provision high quality and outstanding urogynaecology service in NLaG. He provide the entire spectrum of Utogynaecology procedures as vaginal repairs, vaginal hystectomy, sacrospinous fixation, Botox and bulkamid as well as autologous fascial slings which is done by a rare cohort of urogynaecologists in the UK. He has extensive experience with complex and high-risk obstetric operations, such as delivery of placenta previa and accreta, extreme pre-term caesarean sections with the presence of multiple fibroids.
Mr. Shendy studied at Alexandria School of Medicine in Egypt. In the UK, he trained in Oxford region and After achieving membership in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), he completed an advanced training module in urogynaecology. He also holds a European diploma in contraception and reproductive health. Beyond this he is trainer in Utogynaecology for the trainees applying for further education in urogynaecology.
